Lookup International Access Codes / IDDs

To make an international long distance call with a calling card, you may (or may not) need to dial the international access code (or IDD) of the country you are calling from (your originating country).

While you almost always need an IDD when dialing direct, many calling cards do not require dialing the IDD for making international calls.

You should double check your card's dialing instructions to confirm how their system works.

International access codes are also known as international direct dial codes (IDDs).

You can lookup your international access code below.

Notes:

  • Some countries, e.g., Australia, France, Singapore, use more than one IDD to designate specific carriers, specific countries, or other purposes. Be sure to use the correct code for your carrier or calling plan.
  • A '~' symbol indicates a dialing pause. Dial any numbers before the '~', then wait for tone before continuing.
